Troubles lie in deep

 

 

 

 

 

 

Troubles lie within deep seas

as but in shallow ones as well

I never knew that a chance to change

would never come again in life

The drought that dried the wide, wide sea

was once in a million years

and I had to cry at the cruelest force

- was it justice, truth, or even God?

I could not let the teardrops fall

and contribute to the vast, vast blue

for as the water slowly rise

too late 't'll be to undo what's done

What's shattered can't be mend, they say

once what's done that let it be

some things aren't yours, or anyone's,

still I had to grasp and gasp.

If the sea's dried, in a million years,

I'll gladly descend, to the ocean blue.

To undo what's done, to save myself

and the man whom I pushed so long ago.

But if the blue, stays on forever-

and there's no hope, whatsoever,

than salut, my love to all of this world,

and let my body wander, in the ocean blue.

Forever.

Actually I'm thinking of applying this as the next BTL (Between the Lines)

poem - the topic's "Mistake".

 

 

P.S. Anybody who sees this, what about applying your pieces of literary work (Topic : 'Mistake') for BTL? At least the poem's due on June 16th (Sunday) - students of KMLA, check KMLA Online and see the text written by 17th wave 임정은.
